Technical Bodies

Striving to facilitate and improve the management of authors’ rights by our members, CISAC has created several technical committees. Committees are expert groups that deal with issues related to the management and organisation of the administration of authors’ rights within their own particular field.

These technical, legal and communications committees have a consultative role. The agendas of their meetings are decided in collaboration with the Director General and the Chair of each committee, taking into account the proposals submitted by the participating member societies.

A Committee elects its Chair from among the societies’ representatives for a two-year term.

There are currently three Technical Committees, a Legal Committee and a Communications Committee:

Radio and Television Broadcasting Technical Committee (CT-RTV)

Legal Committee (CJ)
