International Councils of Creators

Creators have their own forum within CISAC: the International  Councils of Creators. These groups study all questions concerning the moral and professional interests of creators of artistic works and of the organisations which represent them. They can also submit any resolution in the defence of their interests to CISAC’s Board of Directors or the General Assembly .

The Councils have a consultative role. They are made up of creators who may be accompanied by delegates from their respective societies. For the purpose of co-ordination, members of the Board of Directors may attend meetings of the Creators Councils as observers.

The Chairs of the International Councils of Creators attend the meeting of the Board of Directors preceding the annual General Assembly as observers .

The International Councils of Creators elect a Chair from among its members and they meet once per year.

At the present time there are three Councils, corresponding to the type of creative work done by their members:

- International Council of Dramatic, Literary and Audiovisual Creators (CIADLV)
- International Council of Creators of Music (CIAM)
- International Council of Creators of Graphic, Plastic and Photographic Arts (CIAGP)
