Reflecting the special conditions of the management of the visual arts repertoire, the CIAGP unites creators from the domain of the visual and plastic arts as well as "technicians" from their authors’ societies. All matters concerning their profession and interests are dealt with during its meetings.
In this regard, a number of visual arts societies have responded to market demands to develop business models for easy access to multi-territory licences for cross-border uses by creating the OLA one-stop shop.
The resale right, the distribution of the visual arts share of reprographic reproduction royalties, private copying, cable and satellite, the development of image databases, the European Commission’s legislative activities and supporting the creation of visual arts societies in Latin America are some of the other subjects on which the CIAGP has been focusing its attention.
